Direct Consumer Access Center
Support HB 4603:
Say YES to Direct Consumer Access to Physical Therapy Services in Michigan

MPTA and physical therapists/ physical therapist assistants across the State of Michigan are lobbying our state legislature to remove any unnecessary barriers to safe and cost-effective Physical Therapy services. The Direct Consumer Access Center is updated throughout the year as legislation is introduced in Michigan.

Act Now!
State legislators need to hear from health care consumers themselves when making changes to the Michigan Public Health Code. If you have been a patient and support Direct Access to Physical Therapy you can help protect your ability to access physical therapy benefits by telling your local Michigan Representative and Michigan Senator to support and pass Michigan HB 4603 to grant Direct Consumer Access to Physical Therapy.
