The Michigan Physical Therapy Association is a professional organization representing physical therapists, physical therapist assistants and students who have joined together to assure that high ethical professional standards are maintained and that quality health care in the areas of prevention, education and rehabilitation of movement dysfunction and wellness are received for all consumers in the state of Michigan.

The MPTA is a professional, non-profit organization and serves as a component of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Association membership is comprised of physical therapists, physical therapy assistants and students in the field of physical therapy. The MPTA serves the membership through the activities of its committees and executive office. Prospective members can access information by clicking the Membership link on our homepage.

Membership is just one aspect of the valuable MPTA experience. The MPTA encourages all members to become actively involved in the Association at the state and national level.
