MPTA Student Conclave March 28th
A very successful MPTA Student Conclave was held in Lansing this past Friday. Stay tuned for a recap of the event in the next Shorelines.

MPTA Spring Membership Meeting March 29th

There were over 240 members in attendance at this event.One highlight was the live conference call for the Membership Meeting portion of the event that members from all over the state participated in from 12:15 pm - 2:30 pm. The powerpoints from the Membership Meeting and Spring Educational Sessions are available to members by contacting the MPTA office.

Cut - Contact Congress Now!

To all physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and the patients we treat must tell our Members of Congress to act now on the Medicare therapy cap and proposed fee schedule cuts!.

If Congress does not take action, beneficiaries will lose the exceptions process that protects them from the Medicare therapy cap and PTs will face a nearly 10% cut in payments starting January 1, 2008. Read more about what you can do!
