APTA Shoes4Kids

APTA is now accepting donations for Shoes4Kids in conjunction with their June Conference & Exposition in Salt Lake City, Utah.

For years, Shoes4Kids has been serving underprivileged and under-served children and their families with new athletic shoes. Since 2006, Shoes4Kids has distributed over 4,000 pairs of new, brand name shoes and socks to children across the United States.

The Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Utah has agreed to accept and transport shoes to the local YMCA, The Neighborhood House, and The Road Home.

How Can You Help?
You can purchase a pair of new youth athletic shoes, toddler sizes 3/4 to teenage adult sizes up to 13/14. Monetary donations are also being collected to help purchase new shoes. For more information, please contact Brad Thuringer at (800) 657-4344 ext. 325. Deadline for all donations is June 21, 2013.
