PTA Licensure Update
Updated: January 18th, 2010
MPTA anticipated the questions about PTA licensure that are now being asked since the 12/31/09 deadline had passed.
In December 2009, MPTA requested a review of Medicare Regulations and Public Act 55-2009 (the PTA licensure law) from
experts at APTA, CMS and the State of Michigan.
That process continues underway. There is NO NEW information at this time. This is a legal process which will ultimately be defined by the State of Michigan.
MPTA will keep you updated when / if new information is available. The current information already posted on the MPTA website remains accurate.
