Managing Pain using Hypnotherapy

Speaker: Ruth Reaser, certified practitioner in Hypnosis and in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming)

Course Description:

Hypnosis is one of the most misunderstood (and effective) tools for growth and healing available in the world today. Hypnosis is simply a relaxed state of mind in which you are more receptive to suggestions. Scientific research indicates that guided and self-hypnosis with pain sufferers can have significant, measurable benefits. In this session, you will discover what hypnosis is and how it can help as a part of a multi-disciplinary team in the treatment of chronic pain.
Intended Audience: Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants and Students
