Pharmacology for the Real World PT

Speaker: Lucinda Pfalzer, PT, Ph.D, FACSM, FAPTA

Course Description:

A vast majority of the physical therapy patients are taking prescription and/or over-the-counter medications. What should you know about pharmacology and medication management in order to treat them effectively? This session will focus on a review of pharmacology and medication management in the Physical Therapy setting. It will provide an overview of medications, their uses, interactions and potential red flags to give you the basis for dealing with pharmacology in the Real World.
