Inez Peacock Has Passed Away
May 2008
Inez Peacock, PT, long-time APTA and MPTA member, and a founder of the APTA PrimeTimers, passed away last week in Denver after a short illness. Inez spent 30 years as a school physical therapist before embarking on a research project to develop an exercise program for Huntington's disease patients. She presented her research at numerous conventions around the world and helped create the Michigan Licensing Board for PTs.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the
Foundation for Physical Therapy, 1111 Fairfax St, Alexandria VA 22314.
