Conference details are well underway to bring you the most up-to-date information and dynamic discussions for our 2014 Fall Conference. Friday serves as our Research Day that expresses the diligent work and research your colleagues have been doing throughout the year. Come support their findings, visualize their work, and hear the newest on evidenced-based presentations in PT.
This year, Friday night will also serve as our first pub crawl through downtown Kalamazoo. Join your peers for a night out and be refreshed as Saturday continues with updates on Continuing Education Requirements for Relicensure and hot-off-the-presses update on Direct Consumer Access. Additional topics include geriatric exercise, safe patient handling, orthopedics, neurology, PT/PTA teaming, and more!

Hotel Reservations: Each attendee is responsible to make their own hotel reservations at the Radisson Kalamazoo by calling (269) 343-3333 and asking for Reservations then identify yourself as part of the MPTA - 2014 Fall Conference to get the discounted rate of $129.00++ Single or Double Occupancy, $139.00++ Triple Occupancy, and $149.00 Quad Occupancy per night. These special rates will no longer be available after October 2, 2014.

Our Fall Conference will include an MPTA Membership Meeting on Saturday. This is a free event for all members and you can register to attend this event on our Fall Conference registration page. The Membership Meeting will take place 1:00pm - 2:30pm at the Radisson Hotel. We encourage ALL members to attend and participate in this event. The MPTA Membership meeting is your chance to interact with the MPTA Leadership and other members about the business of the association.
Topics of interest include: Direct Consumer Access news, new Districts coming 2015, MPTA finances, new MPTA Board members announced, and other valuabe membership information.
Roundtable Discussions: Let your voice be heard to a MPTA Board members during the memberhsip meeting with important topics affecting our profession.
Gear up for a night on the town! MPT-PAC is sponsoring a fun outing Friday night as we hit the town of Kalamazoo for a Pub Crawl. This event is available for all to attend. Following the Awards Banquet and reception, there will be a gathering at 7:15 and the event will last until 10:00 pm on Friday, October 24, 2014. If interested, please register prior to the event for count purposes. PTs and PTAs are $20 and students are $10.
